Tumbled stones are rocks and minerals that have been smoothed, shaped and polished in a rock tumbler. Being natural stones, minor anomalies or "imperfections" are not uncommon.
Due to how they're produced, it's rare for any two to be exactly the same.
This type of stone can also be cut and polished by hand. When produced in this way, they tend to be round, oval, or cube-shaped. Despite not having been produced in a rock tumbler, they're still described as tumbled stones.
