Geodes are rocks with a cavity lined with crystals.
The crystals, which grow slowly over long periods, can range in size from small to very large. Their size depends on the environment, geological conditions, and the length of time for growth.
Amethyst geodes tend to be the most popular, followed by agate, celestite, and calcite.
Natural citrine geodes are extremely rare. Most citrine geodes being sold are amethyst that has been heated, which changes the colour.
The geodes in our collection have all been individually chosen. They come mainly from Brazil, South Africa, Uruguay and Morocco.
